Abstract

Competition ‘Clause’ in the Association Agreement between EU and UkraineThis article analyzes the legal preconditions for harmonization of Ukrainian legislation in the field of competition law to the European Union law. Evolutionally we can observe that competition law was & remains the priority ion the process of harmonization of Ukrainian law with the EU Law. Article deals with the detailed analyses of Association Agreement provisions concerning competition law. AA consists norms on obligatory approximation of substantial norms as well as the necessity of changing of system of its enforcement. Special attention was paid to the analysis of state aid that currently remains unregulated in Ukraine.KEYWORDS: competition law, European Union, Ukraine, Association Agreement, Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, harmonization, state aid, transparency.
