Abstract

В статті розглядається хронологія розгортання світової фінансової кризи, зокрема показується роль іпотечноїкризи в США в дестабілізації банківського та страхового сектору цієї країни, ефект банкрутства інвестиційних бан-ків США на "ланцюгову реакцію" розповсюдження кризових імпульсів. Аналізуються дії урядів провідних промисловорозвинутих країн по подоланню кризи ліквідності в фінансовому секторі.This article considers the unfolding of the global financial crisis with a focus on the role played by the US sub-prime mortgagecrisis in destabilizing the US banking and insurance sectors. The article also examines the ripple effects caused by US investmentbank bankruptcies. The article analyzes the measures taken by governments of the leading industrialized countries toovercome the liquidity crisis in the financial sector.
